On April 16 around 13 persons are learnt to have lost their life due to heat stroke. The Maharashtra Bhushan award event was held at Navi Mumbai's Kharghar open ground with 20 lakh public attending the same. The said incident has given big blow to Shinde government. The said ceremony cost Rs13.6 crores and award worth Rs 25 lakhs was given to the declared winners. Last one week there has been heat wave across the country and Goa and Maharashtra are facing the heat. Home Minister Amit Shah, Devendra Fadnavis were among those present at award ceremony. The said event could have been organised at Raj Bhavan after 6 pm. Lakhs of people attending the same were victims of heat stroke due to temperature rise from 32 degree to 36 degree. Now that government has announced Rs5 lakhs as compensation to those who lost lives but is the human life worth such amount is the question raised by the kin of deceased.
