Monsoon is here, time for caution

The drastic fluctuation of temperature which happens during rainy season makes the body susceptible to bacterial and viral attack giving rise to various diseases.

However, one can take certain precautions during the monsoon and stay protected from diseases. Drinking contaminated water is one of the main reasons of diseases in monsoon. Boiling water or a purifier can be a great way in having clean water.

Secondly, many people have the habit of eating at roadside stalls or gaddas. Monsoon is the time when everyone loves fried and spicy snacks. The unhygienic conditions and contaminated water used in making the food makes you vulnerable to stomach infections.

It is also important to keep your home clean. Make sure the house is well ventilated and clean. If there are any leaks or damp areas, repair them to avoid triggering asthma attacks and respiratory problems.

With our country and also our State still battling the Covid infections, it is time to take precautions.
