The latest trend in the government is to lay all the ills at foot of past leaders. It is an escape route for government's mismanagement and inefficiency while taking shelter from reality. The failure to address the issues confronting the Nation is the responsibility of present leadership. Any amount of systematic protestations will not convince the people of impotency of rulers. Embracing problems is the first step of recognition towards solutions. Nation is fed up with sloganeering. Our leaders are assuming the role of peace makers when we cannot bring peace in the state of Manipur. Public salutations are personal and do not add any benefit to the nation. The tendency to blow the candle of others does not make our candle shine bright. Let them tell the Nation of their role if any in the freedom struggle.
