A signpost situated near Remedios Plaza Complex at Upper Bazaar in Ponda was initially installed for showing direction to Bethora, Usgaon and the adjoining areas. However, during recent years, the same has been lying in a negligent condition. Being in a dilapidated condition it needs prompt attention from the authorities concerned. Providing a facelift to this neglected signpost is the need of the hour. Let us hope that prompt positive action would follow in the interest of travellers proceeding along this strategic route.
