A concrete slab existing in a totally damaged condition (with iron rods totally exposed) at the parking area adjacent to NKGSB Bank at Kaziwada in Ponda was removed by the authorities concerned some days back.
However as on Sunday, August 30, at 6 pm, the slab was not replaced. Two-wheeler riders wishing to park their vehicles here face inconvenience due to the uneven surface created after the slab was removed. It would certainly lead to adverse consequences. Human life is precious and it is necessary the officials must act to replace the damaged concrete slab with a new one with immediate effect so that people visiting this spot to park their vehicles receive relief at the earliest.
