Targeting remaining ancestral fields, comunidade lands

The much-hyped bill namely 'The Goa Restriction on Transfer of Agricultural Land Bill', 2023, piloted by Revenue Minister Atanasio 'Babush' Monserate and which was earlier said to have been  brought to restrict transfer of agricultural land to non-Goans was finally passed by mischievously using the word 'non-agriculturists' instead of 'non-Goans' by a voice-vote in the Goa Assembly amid a ruckus raised by the opposition.

Well, the whole world knows what Monserate has done during his entire political career in his own Taleigao constituency all these years.

I therefore feel that Monserate has not brought this bill (which unfortunately has already been successfully passed in the Goa Assembly in a hurry) to protect our agricultural lands in the state (as has been claimed by him through the media) but to mischievously eye/target the last few remaining ancestral fields/comunidade lands of our Goans and to sell them to all the neighbouring builders lobby/rich industrialists in Goa in future.
