Unchecked immigration from B'desh poses security risks

Recent reports about the arrest of Bangladeshi nationals living illegally in India have raised concerns. Following the outbreak of violence in Bangladesh on August 5, former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has sought refuge in India, and the Bangladesh government has recently requested her return.

In such cases, it may be dangerous to allow Bangladeshi people to stay illegally in our country. The potential for mischief or a security threat cannot be overlooked.

Most importantly, those who rent out houses to Bangladeshi citizens should also be held accountable. If strict measures are implemented, it would be easier to control and restrict the presence of illegal Bangladeshi citizens in our country. We must be cautious of any potential threats, as allowing such situations to continue unchecked could lead to significant harm.

DSSS fund misuse: Alarming case of mismanagement

During the first phase of the survey of beneficiaries of the Dayanand Social Security Scheme (DSSS), it was found that of the total of 26,000 beneficiaries aged 80 years and above, about 4,000 were either untraceable or were dead.
