Former Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)/Hindu Raksha Maha Aghadi convenor Subhash Velingkar after having miserably failed to break the unity of Goans throughout his entire political career has now suddenly announced a twenty-day campaign to purportedly state that it is not St Francis Xavier but Bhagwan Parashuram who is the actual ‘Goencho Saib’ of this state with the sole intention of desperately sowing the seeds of hatred and permanently disturbing/destroying the centuries-old communal harmony of Goa for good.
Shockingly, our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant who is otherwise always heard issuing so many statements daily on a variety of issues and even defending controversial Bollywood movies like “Kashmir Files” in the state has still not bothered to issue a single statement to condemn this latest outrageous statement of Subhash Velingkar on ‘Goencho Saib’ in Goa, why?
Velingkar should stop imposing his imaginary religious beliefs on others or else migrate to some neighbouring state if he cannot live peacefully with people of other faiths like a civilised human being.
