I was extremely disappointed to hear from AAP Delhi Leader Atishi that the AAP party will contest the Goa elections 2027 alone. It appears to me that AAP's main priority is not to dislodge the corrupt BJP Party but just perhaps to increase its number of MLAs in the Goa Assembly. I think the first priority is for the combined opposition (including AAP, Congress, RGP) to at least show that the BJP can be defeated when the 2027 results are declared. This itself will be a huge voice by Goans against the BJP misrule and any opposition party not participating is objectively helping the BJP win power again in 2027. I welcome the recent meeting by activists to start a joint front against the BJP and request the AAP party to support the joint fight. Goa does not have time and 2027 perhaps can be one of the last chances we have to act for the preservation of Goa and its identity. For me, any opposition party arrogantly going solo and splitting votes against BJP will not have my vote at the next Goa Assembly elections in 2027.
