Act against those parking near Aquem Power House

I am writing to express my concern about the persistent issue of parking on public roads near Electricity Department (Power House), Aquem Margao road stretch. This situation is frequently creating significant inconvenience for residents, pedestrians, and commuters in the area throughout the day except on Saturday and Sunday. The increasing number of vehicles parked on the road obstructs the smooth flow of traffic, leading to frequent congestion and delays. This not only affects the daily commute of many but also poses a safety hazard, especially for pedestrians who are forced to navigate through narrow spaces and oncoming traffic. The situation becomes particularly problematic during peak school hours when the traffic volume is higher. Furthermore, the indiscriminate parking also affects the accessibility of emergency vehicles. In the event of an emergency, it is crucial that ambulances and fire trucks can move without hindrance. The current parking practices significantly compromise this access, putting lives at risk. I urge the local authorities and the traffic management department to take immediate action against those parking at the said stretch and monitor repetitions.
