Ban on loud music beyond 10 pm unjustified in Goa

This is in response to the news items in local dailies regarding loud music played beyond 10 pm in the coastal belt of Anjuna and Vagator giving sleepless nights for locals. Earlier, when the court had finalized the ban on loud music beyond midnight, entertainment was lukewarm and there was no much noise in the local dailies like in these days. This restriction should have been in the same environment. However, again when the High court ruled for a ban on loud music beyond 10 pm the environment grew louder, such restriction unjustifiable in States promoting tourism, especially in Goa. The matter should be likely reviewed.
