Build bridges instead of operating ferries

It is unfair for the government of Goa to increase the costs of ferry trips for the citizens who are travelling to and from islands. The government should instead build bridges where the ferry boat are in operation so that people of Goa have not to wait for long and get affected when the ferries break down and are sent for maintenance work. Sometimes the service is stopped during the heavy rainfall due to increase in water level.  People are paying road taxes and it's the elected MLAs' responsibility to solve these issues for the betterment of the people in their villages. In fact the government has money to spend on various activities and events in the State but has no money to build bridges where ferries are being operated thereby putting people through hardship in this modern world. I think our country instead of going forward is going backwards due to the corruption in our system. I request our Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and government to take steps to build bridges where these ferries are plying as soon as possible and give good service to the citizens.
