It has come to my notice that certain property owners in the Colva Panchayat jurisdiction have got their huge areas converted under Section 17/2 of the TCP Act from the Town and Country Planning department and have put these properties on sale. Potential buyers please beware that Section 17/2 has been challenged in the courts and is currently sub-judice, and buyers could be affected if the judgement goes against the Section 17/2. I am writing this letter in public interest for the information of all concerned.
