Cabral should stop fooling Goans on state of roads

PWD Minister Nilesh Cabral has now reportedly ordered the suspension of a road contractor's license for two years for shoddy work done by him on the road stretches from Divja Circle, Panjim to Secretariat, Porvorim and from Divja Circle, Panjim to Miramar to temporarily bring down the tempers of all those using these particular roads on a daily basis in Goa.

Well, some might say that Cabral have done a fantastic job by suspending this particular contractor's license for two years (Hey, why just two years? It should have been suspended permanently for life) but what about the ministers/PWD officials who have taken huge commissions and who must have also been involved in awarding this contract to the above mentioned contractor in Goa? When will they be punished or sent to jail for doing so and when will their commissions be fully recovered?

I therefore personally feel that Cabral should take serious action against all the real culprits i.e. ministers, PWD officials/engineers, etc responsible for the worsening condition of most of the  roads and then dream of giving us a few long-lasting roads of international standards in Goa.
