What is happening in our country after 77 years of Independence and we are fighting for the name of the country looks childish when there are so many burning issues like poverty, child labour, unemployment, drugs, rapes , murders, etc which need urgent attention and only reason the ruling party is doing the change and people feel that there has been a scare for the ruling dispensation at Centre after INDIA alliance was formed by the opposition and may be ruling dispensation internal survey showed their popularity graph declining rapidly hence they want to change name from India to Bharat. Article 1 of the Constitution of India written by our Indian icon Dr Babasaheb Ambekar recognises both names India and Bharat hence I quote Article 1 of the Constitution of India. "According to the Article 1 of the Constitution states that “India, that is Bharat, shall be a Union of States." India's Constitution recognises both 'India' and 'Bharat' as the official name of the country "but now the opposition parties are alleging that government may remove the name 'India' and recognise ' Bharat' as the official name of the country." The opposition feels it is only scare of the INDIA alliance that forced the ruling dispensation to contemplate such a move.
