Great initiative! This will surely be a source of information to future generations. As rightly mentioned, the churches of Goa stand as enduring witnesses to the deep and vibrant history of the Christian faith in Goa. However, one wonders what happens in the years to come.
Already, a large number of Goans have migrated on Portuguese passports, abandoning their homeland but still want to keep customs and traditions alive abroad. If this migration continues there may be very few left to appreciate this rich history of Goa.
And, Christians ought to take interest in Church affairs rather than expect somebody else to speak up. The Church is not just the structures, but you & me! And this applies to all Christians whether in Goa or Mumbai and the rest of the country.
