CM protects Minister to save his own chair

Chief Minister Pramod Sawant should be congratulated for acting like a mediator like Donald Trump and successfully convincing the GMC doctors to call off their strike (which they had threatened to start from Tuesday) over Health Minister Vishwajit Rane's verbal outbursts on Saturday against a senior doctor & for finally coming to the aid of the minister to save his own political chair in Goa. Anyway, CM Sawant has now managed to score a few brownie points for himself by successfully convincing the GMC doctors to finally call off their strike, claiming that the Health Minister has already given his apology over the above incident. Well, as far as everyone knows, Rane has given his so-called 'apology' through a media interview inside a local news channel studio by displaying the same arrogance. I therefore still do believe that CM Sawant should have dared to discipline the Health Minister by forcing him to visit the same casualty ward of GMC (the place where he had done his drama) and to tender a public apology to the CMO doctor right in front of the GMC staff.
