On December 2, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee had a 90-minute meeting with Gautam Adani! The CM also invited him to the Bengal Global Business Summit (BGBS) in Kolkata on April 20, 2022 while also inviting the Prime Minister Narendra Modi to inaugurate the same! Adani tweeted his delight at the meeting posting a photograph of the same! Prior to this, there were a series of tweets from Trinamool Congress' Mahua Moitra since June criticizing Adani and accusing the BJP of favouring him. Sample her tweet in response to Adani Ports CEO’ s tweet: 'Acquiring PSU Container Corp of India will be a breeze’ : When Govt. is in your pocket, it is easy to make statements like this @FinMinIndia’.
A CPM leader advises to watch and see the deletion of her tweets. Definitely the tweets will at least stop! Foes turned friends? Money makes for good relationships?
