At the village of Adpai in Ponda, household garbage is being dumped inside the drains, nullahs and also in open areas. Garbage is also being dumped along the Adpai jetty on regular basis. With the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi round the corner, it is necessary for the village panchayat to keep this area clean and tidy. Recently mud that was removed from the drains has been noticed along the roadside for days together. With roads being narrow at this particular location, the situation tends to be a hindrance for smooth movement of vehicular traffic. With a view to assure a clean and beautiful Adpai, it is time for the acting panchayat members to inspect various locations promptly. With a view to assure a neat and beautiful Adpai, it is time for this VP to arrange clearance of the dumped garbage and existing mud along the roadside on priority basis.
