Goa has a deep historical connection with Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Today, Shiv Jayanti is celebrated on a large scale in Goa, with active participation from the younger generation. However, until now, there has never been an exhibition showcasing the historical weapons from the era of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Goa.
For the first time, an exhibition featuring these historical weapons is set to take place next month. The "Sanatan Rashtra Shankhnad Mahotsav" will be held from May 17 to 19 at Farmagudi, with over 25,000 attendees expected. Saints and spiritual leaders from across the country will participate, and Shri Shri Ravi Shankar is also expected to attend.
Additionally, the Chief Minister of Goa, Pramod Sawant, and the Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis, have been invited. This festival will feature a special exhibition that will highlight Goa's art and culture, spiritual heritage, and historical weaponry from the time of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.
