One self-styled 'Gau-rakshak'/known anti-Goan hate-monger running his own right wing organisation was heard abusing the Muslim community on a local news channel the other day by openly calling them as 'harami' and advising people to henceforth stop buying anything from this community i.e. vegetables, flowers etc after his team reportedly stopped a truck carrying illegal beef hidden in between vegetables at Tillari. Now, whether some people are transporting beef illegally to Goa or not, aren't there cops at the border check post to investigate such sensitive matters and to check whether the transported meat is really of a cow or a bull, buffalo etc? Well, it looks like the state government is using the services of such road-side 'goons' to interfere in the eating habits of Christians, Muslims and thinking of banning beef permanently. I think that the Muslim community in the state should file an FIR against this non-Goan hate-monger/ self-styled 'Gau-rakshak' at all police stations and get him arrested immediately for openly blacklisting their community on a news channel at Tillari.
