Girish should resign as GPCC President

Aleixo Reginaldo Lourenco, who was one of three remaining Congress MLAs in Goa has finally resigned as a legislator and joined the Trinamool Congress (TMC). His resignation comes just four days after the party’s central leadership retained him as its candidate from the Curtorim constituency for the upcoming assembly elections. Congress is now left with two ex-chief ministers Pratapsingh Rane and leader of opposition Digambar Kamat in the assembly. Meanwhile, GPCC president Girish Chodankar has reportedly said that Lourenco’s move was totally “selfish” as leaders like him had joined the party out of selfish interests.

I personally feel that the GPCC president Girish Chodankar should himself resign immediately from his post for slowly putting the Congress house in a complete mess to satisfy his own personal ego.
I'm not at all happy with Reginaldo Lourenco's latest decision but I still feel that he had enough sitting all these years in the Congress and had no other choice as this party is being currently run by a bunch of casteist anti-minority/known die hard BJP collaborators cum sympathisers like Girish Chodankar and Digambar Kamat to somehow bring the BJP government back to power in Goa.
