Years ago it was somehow conveyed to leaders at the Centre that Goans are generally quiet and are known to surrender easily. It is easy to grab or acquire land and there are huge properties of comunidades some of which have been already acquired by non-Goans. The same trend is continuing and thus illegal houses are legalised as during elections they ensure majority to MLAs involved in legalising the same. Goans should seriously think that if today we are in minority after some 5-10 years Goans will be reduced to 5-15% of the population due to immigration or for other well known reasons. 'Amchem Goem' slogan will be consigned to the dustbin and after that we will have to chant,'Tumchem Goem'.
