GPCC president Girish Chodankar has claimed that the actual running rate of most advertised government jobs/vacancies and which are currently up for grabs in the State in different categories is as follows -- PSIs Rs 25-35 lakh, Constables Rs 8-10 lakh, LDC Rs 15-20 lakh, Technicians Rs 15 lakh and Teachers Rs 15 lakh.
Well, this is a harsh reality. The government jobs are indeed being sold to the highest bidder by politicians and are never given on merit to deserving candidates.
Yes, our elected politicians have made a complete mockery of the employment system by auctioning jobs and to insult all our highly educated Goans by demanding huge bribes.
Today, if one finds corruption thriving and still going on at a large scale in most government departments, it is solely due to such prevalent evil practices of our politicians.
By paying to get these jobs, politicians in other words force people to start corruption right from day one of joining and then it becomes a vicious circle.
Goans should henceforth refuse to pay these politicians to get work done and it's only then we can hope of bringing a complete new change for the betterment of our future generations in Goa.
