The KTC bus stand, Margao will be shifted for nearly a week to accommodate the Prime Minister's meeting in Margao. The Margao MLA Digambar Kamat has laid a foundation stone for the model bus terminal at Margao four years ago but till today the dream of the main bus terminal in Margao has not come true. Our transport minister says he will build a modern bus terminal in Margao but has not started the work with the support of central minister. Bus terminal in South Goa is a need of an hour. The garbage mountain is another issue in Margao which is affecting the health of the public. The public meeting at Margao only shows that at any cost the BJP government wants to win the South Goa seat in the Lok Sabha election. Hope Modi sees with his own eyes and directs completion of the pending work in Margao and stop giving fake promises to Goans which he gave during his last meeting saying he will give special status for Goa and Goans. Modi should give dual citizenship for Goans and maintain communal harmony in Goa and rest of India.
