Justice in Lakhimpur case seems to be impossible

As long as Union Minister Ajay Mishra is in the cabinet and does not resign, one should not expect any justice to those killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence in UP. Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath himself is a known controversial figure. In fact, there were so many criminal cases filed against him for frequently inciting the majority community against Muslims on communal lines at different police stations in the past. but after becoming the CM, he went on to personally closed these same cases on top priority to somehow prove that he’s a big saint. Now, under such circumstances, how can one expect such type of born cow-dung headed leaders to send their own party Union Minister’s son to jail permanently and to give justice to those killed in the Lakhimpur Kheri violence.

Heavy fees levied on old vehicles unfair

It has been reported that come April the centre is going to impose a hefty increase in the registration-renewal fee for ‘old’ vehicles (15 years and older) ostensibly because their emission norms are outdated. This decision by the government is not fair as it must be stressed that not old model vehicles are the same. Saving the environment is good but blanket rules are bad.
