Chief Minister Pramod Sawant whilst inducting the former Calangute sarpanch Joseph Sequeira in the BJP was heard selectively targeting his former colleague and former minister Michael Lobo with all kinds of allegations.
Well, Sawant was heard saying that Lobo was all for 'family-raaj' and due to which the BJP had flatly refused to give him two tickets i.e. one for himself and the other one for his wife, as the party firmly believed in following the principles of "Nation First, State First" throughout India/Goa.
Well, if what Sawant has said is 100% true then how come the BJP has currently given tickets also for the wives of two of its most controversial prominent leaders to officially promote 'family-raaj' in a very big way in some parts of Goa? Now, why these double-standards?
I therefore personally feel that the BJP leaders instead of misguiding Goans out of frustration and spitting venom against Lobo in particular should allow the voters of Calangute alone to decide & choose the right candidate of their own free choice.
