I am writing to express my deep concern about the significant issues plaguing our nation that seem to be overlooked in the news. The pressing matters of deteriorating Air Quality Index (AQI), rampant corruption in infrastructure projects, electoral corruption, soaring inflation, and the unchecked growth of capitalism are affecting citizens across the country, including those in metro cities who contribute significantly to our economy. The pollution board and environment ministry seem ineffective in tackling air and water pollution, deforestation, and wildlife extinction. The finance ministry's efforts to control inflation are seemingly inadequate. The road and infrastructure ministry's inability to improve the condition of roads, railways, and bridges is alarming. At the grassroots level, local governance bodies such as panchayats and municipal councils, along with elected representatives, appear more focused on secondary issues than addressing the pressing concerns of their constituents. The news is dominated by the inauguration of temples, churches, and statues. It is perplexing how these events relate to the everyday struggles of citizens. I urge the media to shed light on these crucial issues and hold those in power accountable. The citizens deserve to know what is being done to address their problems.
