Online affairs and rise in cybercrime


Relationships among young men and women are increasingly driven by digital platforms like social media and messaging apps, making it easier to meet, communicate, and stay connected. 

This shift has led to the rise of cyber or "digital affairs," particularly in India. smartphones, cheap data, and constant connectivity have made such relationships common among the younger generation. 

However, this digital trend has a darker side. With the growth of online affairs comes a spike in cybercrimes, including scams like "digital arrest" and "honey trap" schemes that ruin lives. 

These online relationships often lack depth and commitment, leading them to end quickly. Despite their fleeting nature, they are contributing significantly to the increase in criminal activities.

Covid cases not severe but precautions are must

The recent report on corona virus is that the countries in Asia have been affected by Covid again. China, Hongkong, Singapore and India has reported number of cases with variant. In India, Kerala and Delhi have also reported cases. Until now 12 deaths have been reported and the country and states are requested to take proper care and precautions to avoid spread of virus.
