This is bound to happen because candidates for government jobs are not selected on merit, but positions are filled via auctions or with karyakartas belonging to ruling parties who do not understand head or tail of the services to be provided to the general public. We have to take this blame upon ourselves, as many of us sell our votes”and our conscience along with it”to time and again elect the same corrupt, uneducated, naïve, and inefficient arrogant politicians.
