Panjimites will have to vote wisely for a better leader

Never in the history of our country has any politician displayed such dedication to his job and task as was done by late and former CM Manohar Parrikar. His death has left a huge void in governance which his predecessor just could not fill. Goa has suffered badly all these years after his death. Never have Goan roads been so bad as we have seen in these few years of the Pramod Sawant administration. Sawant spends most of his time in trying to please his bosses at the Centre. There are many corruption stories doing the rounds on social media how this small-time alternate medicine doctor managed to amass huge wealth.

Meanwhile, his son who was denied the BJP ticket for Panaji, quit the BJP and is contesting the seat as an Independent. The decision to do so must have weighed heavily on him, considering the legacy his late father left behind. It was Politics within the BJP that denied him this opportunity. The electorate of Panaji now needs to choose between a rape accused and a honest, sincere and young Utpal Parrikar who is wanting to do much for the people of Goa. I say give him a chance to prove himself.
