Planning for 2047 but blind to dead traffic signals in 2023

It’s now more than a week that the traffic signals at the Nuvem interchange are out of order.  And Traffic Department instead of addressing this have their men collecting fines just some metres away. And many times it’s close to chaos at this place with accidents/fatalities waiting to happen.  Also in the same week, traffic was stopped ( on the same route with these non working traffic signals) to allow Goan Ministers to pass thru ( at inconvenience to the common man) en route to the Chintan Shivir: Goa's Vision @2047’ at a prominent luxury resort in South Goa.  It’s indeed strange that all these ministers particularly the Chief Minister and Transport Minister want to have/attend conferences ( at cost to the overstretched Goan taxpayer) to plan for 2047 but they can’t see non-working traffic signals in 2023!
