PM Modi’s interactive session was a sheer waste of time

The government staff were strictly instructed through a last-minute circular to compulsorily report to office on Saturday i.e. 23rd October to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s special interactive session with beneficiaries and stakeholders of Aatmanirbhar Bharat Swayampurna Goa via video conference in Goa. The heads of departments were also directed to submit a report along with photographs of staff who had attended the said event in the office. In short, the government employees were victimised through such mild threats and made to forcibly attend this so-called “interactive” session of our PM in different parts of Goa. Prime Minister Narendra Modi (despite all the hype) as expectedly was seen interacting with a few selective people (obviously appointed by the Goa government) and heard giving his own big suggestions doing his usual blah-blah and behaving like one all-round most qualified expert.

Now, what was the real reason for forcing all the government employees, panchayat/municipal members to take part in such a useless interactive session and which discussed nothing about the ongoing destruction of Goa. Looks like the Goa government was more interested in satisfying its own ego by mischievously having only a publicity-seeking photo session of all those attendees and not in having some real discussion with the PM on issues affecting Goans.

There can be no excuses for the action GF took. It is very strange that even today people are trying to justify their actions. How…
