The Goencho Carnival is a vibrant celebration that truly reflects the rich culture and spirit of Goa. During the Goa Carnival, which takes place over four days before beginning of Lent, people participate in vibrant, chaotic, and joyous celebrations, centered around massive, colourful, themed float parades, live music, street dancing, and folk khell tiatr in Konkani in villages where people gather to watch. Such events not only preserve our heritage but also promote tourism and local businesses.
