Rein in the Hindu right-wing elements

As Muslims in India continue to face threat calls by Hindu right-wing loonies Dr Gregory Stanton, the president of Genocide Watch has warned that something akin to the inhumane Rwandan genocide could occur in India if immediate corrective action is not taken by the government. Utterances at a gathering of Hindu saints in Haridwar were aimed at inciting violence against the minorities which should have been condemned by the PM but expectedly he did not for fear of losing the Hindu vote. Amnesty International and 17 other human rights organisations have also flagged the atrocities committed on Muslims over the past seven years. Bigotry and sectarianism are being propagated by the current dispensation. With the Hindutva hate factory firing on all cylinders, the  Balkanisation of this country is inevitable if the extremist elements are not reined in.
