The road widening work in Siolim on MDR 10 (Major District Road) the PWD has seen the erection of permanent dividers near Bharat Petroleum Petrol pump. Drivers, riders of four wheelers enter in the wrong lane to avoid travelling long distances to come to fuel their tanks. How these engineers execute their plans is unknown as in Mapusa at the famous Carvalho HP petrol pump there are no dividers. While in Siolim someone is insisting there should be dividers. With stray cows squatting anywhere on the main road will the authorities appoint cow ushers to remove them from the road? This MDR road has to be declared with a speed limit which is very important for the safety of the pedestrians of Siolim. Please remove these unnecessary road dividers immediately in the safety interests of the public.
