The announcement of Revolutionary Goans into politics is music to the ears of all Niz Goenkars as the wait for our own non-political outfit is over.
We are all aware that RG as an apolitical entity was in the forefront against the government's contentious projects.
Another Delhi based political outfit Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) too is making the right noises to contest all the 40 seats just like the Revolutionary Goans by enticing the electorate with freebies to match their non-corrupt Delhi model of governance.
Unlike during the last elections, AAP has roped in prominent Goans in their fold to give the party a distinct regional flavour who may give the national parties a run for their money.
Out CM it seems is more interested in the welfare of neighbouring Sindhudurg with Mopa becoming a reality. It is time the BJP realises that they cannot take the people of Goa for granted by riding roughshod with their misplaced priorities.
Parivartan in these pandemic times is the need of the hour to rid ourselves from the shackles of both the BJP and Congress who have been ruling the roost and calling the shots for decades. It's time to sing the requiem and lay them to rest.
