Signals installed in Gogol creating chaotic situation

This is to bring to the notice of the media, the chaotic situation caused by the installation of traffic signals at the Floriano Vaz Circle, Gogol, without any brains applied by the respective authorities. It's been roughly ten days of horror for the residents living around the place, with horns blaring; an exit from the row villas at Suyash Gardens practically blocked  by huge traffic snarls; barricades put on a very narrow portion of the road, which many a motorist, drive and ride around, making matters worse and cops blind to all traffic violations around this junction. Instead of the signals being a boon, they are a mess and a source of great inconvenience to the residents of the area, who were better off, without the signals. Fatorda MLA Vijai Sardesai and traffic cop DySP Shirvaikar were briefed of the situation last Thursday but there is no relief and I am wary of absolutely nothing going to happen, unless these signals are done away with altogether.
