Many questions have been raised about the recent fires in the Goan forest. Why the State government didn’t put the helicopter service in action on day one? Was the fire at the Mhadei wildlife sanctuary started to make the case weak in the Supreme Court?
It looks like the state government in Goa is dancing on the tune of the central government and doesn’t want to go against this double engine government who is playing divide and rule game from Delhi to keep both the Goa and Karnataka state under their rule by taking the Mhadei River water issue ahead.
So many different types of animals have died in the fire but the State government does not seem to care. Hope our government don’t take the case lightly and takes remedial measures.
