Stray cows are a frequent cause of road accidents. There have been attacks on pedestrian and vehicles by cows on roads. Recently there was an accident where a villager going to church met with an accident and was injured near the Chandor Three Kings Circle where during night time many stray cows sit on the middle of the road blocking traffic. From Chandor school towards circle and Dr Verelkar clinic there is always a gang of stray cows and people meet with accidents and get injured. One doesn't understand from which direction the cows come from and who are their owners. The Village Panchayat of Chandor Cavorim and Guirdolim Panchayat need to find a solution to stray cow problem in the village. The NGOs who take care of stray cows should not let cows die and get injured on roads. We request our government of Goa, CMO, village panchayat office, Traffic cell, PWD department to take serious action as soon as possible on the stray cow issue.
