Tharoor-- right man in the wrong party?

This is in reference with the recent statement of Congress' bigwig Shashi Tharoor. It's shocking to learn that the grand old party has been giving him a cold shoulder since he had contested for the apex position of Congress Party against the current party president, Mallikarjun Kharge. We can rightly use a political saying, that was used widely for Atal Bihari Vajpayee, for Tharoor now, 'A right man in the wrong party'. Tharoor is the same guy, who appreciated Prime Minister Narendra Modi and had compared Modi to a scorpion years ago, so it proves in politics and geopolitics, there is no friend or foe, just interests. According to my assessment, he has very few options in Kerala, going with Left or BJP both appear to be unthinkable. However, his recent appreciation for the PM has sparked a conversation, amid speculation of him joining BJP before 2026 assembly polls.
