Traffic hurdles due to roadside vendors

The roadside fruit, flower, fish vendors are causing traffic hurdles on busy streets. The public has the tendency to purchase items sitting on two-wheelers or inside cars parking just in front without bothering others. Some vendors have erected temporary sheds close to busy roads with the help of godfathers in the municipality, many others doing business in vans, pickups, rickshaws, etc resulting in constant traffic blockades. There is none to collect tax from these roadside vendors but it is not known how fine will be imposed and collected from those found urinating in public. The tax is collected without fail from those hardworking women selling vegetables and flowers toiling in the hot sun all day in front of the police station to sell their produce. The regular vendors have to spend on permanent establishment, maintenance, all types of taxes etc and encroach on foot paths or block it or even extend to roads during festival period.  The public has to suffer the constant menace of traffic hurdles due to such vendors. Will the concerned authorities handle the issue while earning income too?
