Our politicians were heard giving their own big speeches on Liberation Day from different platforms and telling us how many benefits it has given Goans in almost every field and how much development it has really brought for the state. Well, the only people who are really enjoying the benefits of liberation today are politicians, outsiders, property-dealers, land grabbers, owners of all the casino ships, drug dealers, those running liquor outlets, prostitution centres, dance bars and not 'aam-Goans'. Otherwise, why are most Goans still leaving this state in large numbers and migrating to foreign countries for employment? Of course, our politicians have brought in different projects, constructed many four-lane roads, fancy bridges and flyovers everywhere since liberation but all this has been done to bring in hordes of outsiders and to slowly build their own vote bank in different parts of Goa. We need to stop our elected politicians from auctioning this state to outsiders to build their own vote bank and also need to start another revolution to permanently liberate Goa from the filth of drugs, prostitution, dance bars, casinos and all other alcohol related activities at the very earliest.
