A 13-year wait has finally been broken by this win by bringing back the World Cup to India. Several players like Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja along with head coach Rahul Dravid have announced retirement and their void will be difficult to fill. The team dismantled in the earlier stages the likes of Pakistan, Australia, England, Sri Lanka, convincingly beating them and augurs well for the future of Indian cricket.
