Government acts only when tragedies occur

My deepest sympathies to the bereaved families who lost their dear ones at the Birch by Romeo Lane at Arpora. The blame game is on a few suspended officers who will be cleared from all wrong doings and they will get back their pay once declared not guilty.  The TCP, DoP, Fire, Health, FDA, Panchayat, GSPCB, Tourism, PWD, Electricity departments are all part of illegalities in Goa especially when it comes to running tourism establishments. It's big money and even the Sarpanch of Arpora has said it. The government acts only when deaths occur, words of sympathy followed by a meagre compensation and then the drama begins all over again. Citizens and NGOs are labelled as people who do not want development, only politicians from ruling party are patriotic and work for nation building, It's high time people decide to vote wisely for good governance and healthy opposition is best for democracy. It took 30 minutes for fire fighters to reach the scene and it took equally fast for Indigo to reschedule their flights to charter out the Luthra Brothers to Phuket , while the police should have alerted all the airports' security but nothing happened.
