Luthra Bros fleeing India – escape or facilitated?

The successes and failures of the tragedy at Assagao have become the central topic of media coverage in Goa; however, the owners' escape is merely a fleeting piece of news that will soon be forgotten. It is noteworthy how quickly the two individuals fled Goa and subsequently India. This indicates the level of preparation these owners had in anticipation of any unforeseen circumstances, as they were aware that their operations were illegal in this jurisdiction. What warrants further investigation is whether their escape was genuine or if their movements were facilitated by law enforcement and those in positions of authority. "The great escape" serves yet another example of the complacent attitude of the Goa Police and administration, which can be easily circumvented and rendered ineffective by the affluent and influential. As time progresses, this situation will likely follow the typical trajectory of "fading into obscurity," and the illegal activities will persist uninterrupted.
