Psychological impact of going to school in April

A public meeting held at the historic Lohia Maidan, Margao, on Sunday by the parents has reportedly unanimously resolved to carry on the agitation against opening of the academic year in April. The biological clock is an organism's natural timing mechanism that regulates cyclical behaviours and physiological processes. Over decades children have been adapted to having a vacation in the months of April-May. A sudden change in this school calendar will have a profound impact on the children’s psychology. They will not be able to concentrate on their studies in the month of April when their mind has been adapted to a vacation during this month.
