Born to parents with immense cultural capital, artist Yolanda de Souza and musician Rudolf von Kammermeier, young artist Sarah de Souza Kammermeier showcases her talent in her latest exhibition ‘2012 to 2016’ at the Art Chambers in Calangute.
The show ‘2012 to 2016’ comprises of fifty works of art executed using water colours and acrylics as a medium. As the title of the exhibition suggests, ‘2012 to 2016’will showcase works of art painted during the time period.
Incidentally, another exhibition hosted by Sarah in 2011, had 5000 pieces of art, which she had painted during her early years.
The first exhibition Sarah participated in was in Mumbai, in a group show in 2003, which was curated by Anand Naik and one that was aimed at assisting underprivileged children in Mumbai. She has also participated in other group shows like ‘Children of Artists’ at Gallery Attic in 2009. Sarah’s first solo show was in 2005 at Yolanda’s Galeria. Sarah’s works have been featured along with works of arts of international artists at an international Artists Residency in Austria in 2015.
Her latest exhibition '2012 to 2016' will be available for viewing until March 15, at the Art Chambers, an art hub in the Calangute village in North Goa.
