There are Comic Cons held all over the world now, even in India. But, San Diego is where it all started, and now, it’s where everything starts. If you want to be in the news, you premiere something, anything, at San Diego Comic Con, also known as SDCC. If you want to keep an eye on the burgeoning industry that revolves around pop culture, you keep your sights firmly trained on SDCC. Basically, SDCC is the king, the queen and all royalty put together in one massive convention center.

#TGLife wanted to visit San Diego, but due to unavoidable circumstances we couldn’t. By unavoidable circumstances we mean we couldn’t afford the return ticket, leave alone staying there in San Diego for one awesome, costume filled week. Oh, Batman costumes were sold out. “No Batman, No Party!” as they say!

The reveals were amazing. But obviously DC went ahead full steam and previewed a few special trailers, for the upcoming Suicide Squad for starters. They also showcased a little about Justice League and revealed the poster and first trailer for Wonder Woman. There were others, like the Lego Batman Movie, Kong: Skull Island which stars Tom Hiddleston and Brie Larson. Marvel showed everyone a fresh and revealing Doctor Strange trailer, as well as one of Spiderman, although it wasn’t yet available online as of Sunday early evening. Here are a few standout reveals from SDCC

'Wonder Woman's first trailer and poster

"Wonder Woman" star Gal Gadot shared the first poster of the movie, ahead of its highly anticipated introduction before fans at the San Diego Comic-Con convention. The image features a profile of the Amazonian superhero in her famous red, blue and gold outfit, clasping a sword against a pink and blue sky, above the words: "Power. Grace. Wisdom. Wonder." "A dream come true! Happy to finally share this with you all," the Israeli actress and model wrote alongside a post of the image on Twitter. Reaction to such new material is being watched carefully by industry analysts. "Wonder Woman" is the first modern superhero movie to focus exclusively on a female protagonist.

"Wonder Woman" is scheduled to hit theaters on June 2, 2017, focusing on a character who was introduced earlier this year in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice." The trailer is just amazing. Gal Gadot seems a perfect fit for the part and the visuals one sees in the special Comic Con trailer looks great.

The anti-heroes cometh!

Suicide Squad will be released in August and DC shared the final trailer, gearing up for a few mega releases over the next few years. The action-packed trailer shows off the entire ensemble of destructive misfits as they’re assembled into their meta human task force for the really dangerous jobs ” a movie about "bad vs. evil," according to Will Smith. We get to see everyone in their glory as they burn, slice, shoot, and destroy their way through their mission. Aside from Joker, Harley Quinn and Batman, this movie features characters regular moviegoers aren't familiar with, but at least the newest trailer did a good job of painting the main players in a cool light.

The League comes together

Superman vs Batman teased up the formation of the Justice League and introduced snapshots of the members. Now, DC’s Justice League sneak preview just shows us how awesome and mind-blowing the DC cinematic universe might come to be. One sees Aquaman and Bruce Wayne face-off, before obviously becoming fast friends. Bruce starts recruiting everyone, from Cyborg to the Flash. He and Diana Prince, aka Wonder Woman might just have a small romance blooming? One never knows.

Arrow returns in October

On television, DC’s Arrow will soon starts its fifth season in October. The makers were kind enough to show us an early trailer, which starts off after the defeat of Damien Darhk. Oliver Queen deals with the loss of the Black Canary, his broken relationship with Felicity and his new role as Mayor of Star City. All this happens while his alter-ego, the Green Arrow is working on starting a new team. It’s going to be an exciting October on Colours Infinity here in Goa.

Meet the Doctor

Marvel cannot be left far behind. They kicked off their massive cinematic universe years ago with Iron Man, and have DC actually eating their dust as far as movies go. Marvel premiered Doctor Strange (not to be confused with Batman’s rival Hugo Strange) a few months ago, but that was just the teaser. The proper trailer that shows Benedict Cumberbatch as the Doctor who works on bending reality. He’s joined in the movie by Tilda Swindon, Rachel McAdams and others.

The Lego Movie won fans all over the world. Now, they return with the Lego Batman movie, where Lego Batman deals with a changing Gotham and his new protegee, Robin, who is this energetic boy that hates wearing tight pants, or so the trailer tells us, to explain the lack of proper bottom wear for Batman’s sidekick. It’s an interesting take on Batman. Of course this is a fresh script and doesn’t really have any relationship with any canon from the Batman comic books. Then again, this is just the trailer.
