Following Prime Minister Modi's recent move to discontinue Rs 500 and 1000 notes, people were quick to take to social media to express their views. Celebrities also took to tweeting about the sudden move with most lauding Modi for his step in eradicating black money. Among the many who tweeted was author Chetan Bhagat who wrote, “Ladies and Gentlemen, cash, is the new trash.” However as has been the case in the past, the author was quick to receive backlash from Twitterati who took yet another opportunity to troll him. Chetan has stated recently that getting trolled a lot is a sign of being really popular.
